Stora Enso Starts-up BM 7 at Oulu Mill in Finland after Conversion to Kraftliner
Stora Enso has started-up BM 7 at Oulu Mill in Finland after converting the machine’s production from woodfree coated papers to kraftliner. Oulu’s pulp mill restarted in mid-January.
BM 7’s production will be ramped up during the first quarter and is expected to reach its designed production capacity of 450,000 tonnes per year by the end of 2021.

The American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) released its December 2020 Containerboard Monthly report. Total Containerboard production in December increased 3% compared to December 2019. It was up 4% when compared to the same 12 months of 2019.
